This section of the BATC wiki is a directory of sites suitable for portable microwave and ATV operation - the idea for a directory came about from the the huge amounts of documentation left by G3PYB (BATC president 2006 - 2016) about paths and sites for 10 and 24 GHz tests in the 1990s. I was truly impressed with the diligence of Peter and others and felt we had to capture it for future generations of microwave and TV operators - this page is dedicated to the memory of Peter G3PYB who sadly became silent key in early 2016.

The idea is to list the height, the good and bad take off direction, Mobile data coverage, whether the site is accessible using a vehicle, facilities on-site and if there are nearby transmitters likely to cause interference.

Each site has a link to its entry in the '''[http://www.heywhatsthat.com heywhatsthat site profiling website]'''. This enables you to see the exact location of the site and view the panorama from the site. By clicking on another point on the map it will show view the path profile to that location - by clicking on "parameters" just below the profile you can enter the RF frequency you are interested in and get a path loss profile between the 2 sites.

To add another site to the wiki you need to be logged in - then edit the list on this page to add the new site by adding the site name in the correct area. The repeater antenna is an Angled Slot, mounted on top of the GB3HE four stack, which is on top of the main mast located ~ 500 feet ASL on the Ark Helenswood in Hastings TN34 2AF. 

Talkback audio channel is currently taken directly from GB3HE, with future 2M RX to be added. DATV/ATV audio will be auto switching on second channel.
