DATV Receive

This page is only applicable to the Portsdown 5, not the Portsdown 4 or Portsdown 2020.

Introduction

The DATV Receiver in Portsdown 5 connects to a MiniTiouner or a Picotuner. It uses the longmynd receiver software. The received signals can be displayed on either the touchscreen or an HDMI monitor. Note that only one of these can be connected at any time.

There are 2 players available, VLC and ffplay. The use of VLC is recommended as it enables a lot more features. The player to use is selected from the Receive Config Menu.
