There are 3 channel types on the streamer:

Member streams

Every BATC member is allocated a channel which is managed from the member's account dashboard.

For more details on setting up your channel and for encoder setting see this wiki page.

Repeater streams

Repeater streams are actually a separate user in the Wordpress database which uses the registered stream owner's email address - the registered stream owner was copied across from the old streamer. The email address can be (and is likely to be) the same email used for the owners normal member account.

To gain access to your repeater account do a password reset on this page https://batc.org.uk/members/lost-password/, but enter the REPEATER CALLSIGN and NOT your own user name in the user name box .

You will then be sent a password reset email - see this wiki page if you need more information on the password reset process.

Once you have access to the repeater account, you can use the account dashboard to set up your stream in exactly the same way as you do for your member's stream - note because of the way WordPress works, you will have to keep your personal and repeater log ins separate.

For more details on setting up your channel and for encoder setting see this wiki page.

Unfortunately you will not be able to log in to the old streamer to copy the notes / HTML you had below your video window - we will attempt to copy most of this across but this will be a manual task and may take some time.

It is planned to migrate all repeater streams across by the end of June 2018.

Special event streams

Special event stations are used for streaming one-off events such as conferences - they can only be set up by administrators - if you require a special stream please contact admin@batc.tv
